Of course, like almost everyone, COVID-19 has affected American Ghost Walks in a big way. But the good news is that outdoor walking tours are among the safest of entertainment activities that you do during a pandemic.
We’re outside and being outdoors is one of the safest places to be during this time with regards to the spread of the coronavirus, but here are some of the steps that we’re taking in order to ensure that you’re
- Smaller capacity tours
- Stay outdoors when possible
- Social distancing, so keep 6 feet away from other groups when possible
- Bring along a mask or face covering just in case you need to get closer than 6 feet, to look at something or to hear the story
- If you’re sick, please stay home. We’re happy to reschedule your tour for when you’re feeling better.
We take your health and the health of our wonderful ghost hosts very seriously, so we’ll be following the local and state guidelines closely to make sure you have a fun and spooky time with us on your ghost walk.
We’re working on city-specific pages for each of our haunted history locations, but in the meantime, we always recommend bringing along a face covering just in case. If you’re in Madison, Milwaukee, or San Juan, Puerto Rico, please make sure to have a mask along, because there is mask ordinance in place in those cities and in the event we have to duck in somewhere indoors, the masks are required by city ordinance.
Thanks and we’ll be haunting YOU safely out there!
