The Casual Preppers are the opposite of the doomsday bunker stereotype. They just want to be a little more ready for the things that happen in everyone's life, like losing a job, a car breaking down, or, sure, a volcano going off. Bigfoot was simply the latest scenario to prepare for, and they talk through what it takes to spend a week at high elevation in changeable weather, and how silly you can look trying every Bigfoot-calling method when the only audience is your friends (and maybe a camera).
Mike and Wendy bring up the long-running debate between the flesh-and-blood camp and those who think Bigfoot might be something stranger, recalling how Loren Coleman of the International Cryptozoology Museum reacted when someone asked if Bigfoot was a ghost. The group also talks about doomsday marketing on talk radio, zombies, UFOs, and where everyone would head first if the apocalypse actually came.
