This well-known apparition has been reported by many to be seen hitchhiking along Archer Avenue, near the Resurrection Cemetery. The spectral figure is said to be a young woman in a white dress, often described as dancing and then disappearing. The legend dates back to the 1930s, and it's believed that Mary is the ghost of a young girl who died tragically in a car accident while on her way home from a dance.
